To enhance performance and avoid injuries it's not how much you train, but HOW you train.
Like all our COREfit® Programmes and Classes we will teach you how to understand your body's biomechanics so that you can perform with the most efficiency in your chosen sport, from walking, to horse-riding to cable-tossing!
Through postural core strengthening work you will learn to engage and centre your stabilising muscles, integral to the body's biomechanics. We will then focus on strengthening and training the specific muscles required to exceed performance and prevent injuries in your sport. For example if you were a hockey player you are likely to have weak glutes caused by running in a horizontal position. This often results in knee problems as time progresses. However by focussing on strengthening your glutes we can teach your body to power from the strong glutual muscle rather than the quadriceps and avoid many quadiricip over-use problems.
